HaLLoWeeN 2010

We had a super fun family party this year. We had a scary food table including Goblin Puke (taco soup) and Poisoned Apples covered in Bat Slime (caramel apples). SOOOO fun! We played a few games and trick-or-treated a little after the rain stopped pouring down. Thanks to Rookie and Alice and Richard and the boys for coming and sharing our Halloween. :)

Bragging Alert!!

My kid rocks!! Michael got his first school award for both academics and citizenship! He is one of the top students in the class! :) He is such a good student and a fun guy to be around. His classmates love him, his teacher loves him, and we love him!!! :)

My head is going to explode!

Stress at school and then more stress at home.
Note to self: Do not google "exploding head" and expect to find pleasant images.
A vacation would be nice,
but I am trying to pay off some bills.
Men are like children and I've already
got too many of those in my life.
It sucks when children have to parent their parents.
There is nothing I want to watch on TV
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
I'm okay with that!
Any suggestions for my next good read?
I've been walking at least 4 nights a week.
I am a smaller pant size now! :)
I need to go wash Bug's hair.

Silver Lake Again...

I love this place!

It is just SO beautiful.

The Fall colors are starting to show. There is a ton of yellow this year. I didn't see the reds, purples, and pinks from last year....but it may be too early yet.

The kiddos rock climbed this time. Lots of fun!

We ran into Rookie and Alice. :) Funny.
