** Don't some of these pictures make you think of running down the hills to the theme of Little House on the Prairie? Or maybe it's just me.

It was a perfect day for Lagoon - 60's and sunny. We went on almost every ride. The kid's favorite ride was Collasus. They loved Wicked and Bombora too. Pioneer Village was super fun....except I lost $45 on or near Rattlesnake Rapids. :( The food was greasy goodness and the kiddos got a fun light saber and cotton candy. I enjoyed a caramel apple. Overall...a totally fun day.

Fall Soccer 2011

Our first adventures into the sports arena with the kiddos. He is loving it. He is a good sport and tries really hard. He loves to play defense. :) It has been fun to watch his games. One of the other player's parents is an old friend for college I haven't seen for years. It has been nice catching up with her. I think we will keep this up.

Handsome boy!

The "Green Lizards"

Practice day.

Utah State Fair 2011

The fair always brings up good memories for me. I have not been for years though. It was super hot, but Michael and I decided to go anyway. Megan was at a friend's birthday party. We had SO much fun. Michael could have skipped all the animal houses and art exhibits, but I made him go anyway. Poor guy. It paid off for him because we did a ton of fun things too. :) It poored rain on us for a minute so we hid in one of the buildings. The rides were fun and the food was yummo! We are definately going back next year. Maybe at night so Megan can go too. :)

The "Little Hands on the Farm" exhibit was awesome. He went through what really happens on a farm and even earned money and bought a treat at the end. He chose an apple. :) So fun!

Rides, rides, rides. The octopus was my favorite. You should have seen Michael's face coming down on the skyscraper ride. Priceless!

First day of school September 2011

I should have had them standing...but oh well. They are still darling. :)

The House That We Built

and it only took 1 hour! :)

Unconditional Love

Baci my walking partner. Gorgeous dog! And he lubs me. He now has a brother just like him but Chocolate. :)

Megan's 9th Birthday

She wanted a Candyland theme. She has been planning it since February - including drawings and schematics. :) The kiddos (and grandma) each made their own house and then we put it all together. We did our best. You decide. :)

Her new bike. She wanted the one with training wheels "just in case." Now I can't get the darn things off. Grr. :(

Her darling new purse she bought with her birthday money. :) SO cute.

Soccer Practice and Some Fun

Washington D.C. July 2011

Such a wonderful time. We missed the massive heat wave by about 6 hours. My hair didn't seem to notice though because it was flat/frizzish the entire time. But I got to enjoy good food and great conversation with friends and collegues, wonder the museums and national monuments, navigate around the city by metro with little to no help (only lost my ticket twice), and spend a few life-changing hours at the Holocaust Museum. Hope to take the kids there someday soon. Loved it!
